Tia Harding, Lead Teacher

Tia specializes in Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio teaching methods, and loves to see children grow while discovering their independence.

Tia has worked for three Montessori preschools, with children ranging from infants to early elementary age. She specializes in Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio teaching methods—falling in love with the idea of guiding children to be their best selves as they discover independence.

Watching a child grow in a space that is open and nurturing, while encouraging individual liberty was captivating for her.

With over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, and 6 years teaching preschool, Tia will lead the Little Explorers in Malden. She is beyond grateful to join the team and share her knowledge with your little ones everyday. Because just like Maria Montessori said: “A child is truly a miraculous being, this should be felt deeply by the educator”.

Tia moved from Utah to Boston last September, and some of her hobbies/interests include: snowboarding, camping, traveling, hiking, writing, and trying all kinds of different food. She also has a love for the performing arts, as she grew up dancing for 13 years and participated in theater for 8 years.
