We are currently hosting tours in JP/Roslindale, Malden, and Milton for current and future enrollments. Tours of our Natick and Sudbury locations are offered on a limited basis, to families interested in Summer 2024 and/or School Year 2024 - 25. Reach out to schedule!

BOPN considers applications for the current school year on a rolling basis, space permitting. Submitting an application will automatically place your child on the Waitlist if your requested current-year class is full. Should a spot become available and your child is eligible, you will receive an invitation to enroll. We encourage prospective families to apply as soon as they are ready—regardless of desired start date—for the best chance of securing future enrollment.
Admissions decisions for school year 24-25 were made in February 2024, after the enrollment period for current and former BOPN families expired. If you submitted an application for summer 2024 or SY 24-25 prior to March 1 and have not heard back, please reach out!

BOPN offers rolling admissions during the school year, and we invite you to come for a tour.
Please submit an interest form and we will respond to you promptly.
Tuition
The total cost of attendance includes tuition, application and enrollment fees, and the purchase of outdoor gear for your child. Tuition (including deposit) and fees are non-refundable nor transferable.
Enrollment in one of our programs is a significant commitment. We determine staffing needs, teacher salaries, and operating costs based on projected and confirmed class sizes. It is for this reason that we are unable to refund or transfer any payments made towards applying or enrolling in BOPN.
Financial Aid
We offer income-based financial aid for families who need it.
Financial aid may be offered in the form of an enrollment fee reduction or waiver, deposit payment schedule, tuition reduction, and/or outdoor equipment assistance.

Indicate on your enrollment application that you need financial aid, and we’ll provide you with a brief form to fill out. Admissions decisions are not be made until Financial Aid applications are received and processed.
Waitlists
When applications exceed openings in a given program, our selection process is guided by three primary factors: our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; dedication to our current and alumni families; and chronological order of inquiry.
Submitting an application for the current school year will automatically place you on the Waitlist if your requested class is full, or your child is not age-eligible. Should a space become available, you will receive an admissions decision with an invitation to enroll.

2. Visit:
Touring our classes gives you the opportunity to see our philosophy in practice, chat with our dedicated nature educators, and experience the beautiful forests, gardens, and landscapes the children explore each day.
3. Apply:
Submit your enrollment application and fee. Financial assistance is available, and applications for Financial Aid must be submitted with enrollment applications.
4. Enroll:
If your child is admitted to a program, you will receive an invitation to enroll.
