Heather Baldyga, Board of Directors

Heather has a passion for helping others succeed.

With 15+ years in banking, a soft spot for nonprofits and small businesses, and a lifetime living with preschool teachers, Heather brings a wealth of information to BOPN’s Board of Directors.

Heather has a passion for helping others succeed.

With over 15 years of experience in banking, Heather has worked at financial institutions such as Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, M&T, and Cambridge Savings Bank. She is currently with Walden Mutual Bank, and a welcome new member of BOPN’s Board.

While living in San Francisco, Heather spent several years at First Republic Bank—where she developed a love of working with nonprofits and small organizations; and learned the importance of excellent customer service.

As a daughter and sister of life long preschool teachers, she also understands the impact of early childhood education.

Heather graduated from the University of Vermont, with a degree in economics and a pre-med concentration. After some time in the Bay Area, she is glad to be back in New England and currently lives in Portsmouth, NH with her husband.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys cooking, trying out new restaurants, reading, water sports, traveling, and spending time with her nieces.
