Nicole Chan, Administrative Coordinator

Nicole has worked in the early education field for over 20 years as an educator and administrator, in corporate and non-profit organizations.

Nicole was raised in Newton, Ma and spent summers at her family's house on the lake in the south shore. As a child she spent her days swimming, boating, frog and bug exploring, and generally being outside from dawn to dusk. Nature was such an integral part of Nicole’s childhood, she is thrilled to be a part of an organization that values the role of nature in a child’s life.

Nicole’s background is in early childhood and art. She has worked in the early education field for over 20 years as an educator and administrator, in corporate and non-profit organizations. She believes that the experiences BOPN provides is invaluable to a child’s growth and mental health in this current day and age. She is excited to take on the Administrative Coordinator role and support BOPN’s mission as they grow as a whole and expand equity programs to support families in the Greater Boston area.

In her spare time Nicole enjoys traveling with her family, reading and creating art, and hiking with her 2 dogs and spending lazy days at the beach!
