Lindsey Freedman, Toddler Connections Leader

Lindsey grew up exploring The Arnold Arboretum, learning how to identify birds by their calls and trees by their leaves at her grandmother’s side.

Her grandmother’s joyful guidance, genuine interest in her ideas, and contagious passion for nature shaped Lindsey as a nature educator. 

Lindsey earned her BA in Anthropology from Brandeis University then got her M.S. Ed. in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College of Education in 2007. She has been teaching preschool for almost 20 years, most recently at The Little School in San Francisco. 

Lindsey spends her free time with her own adventurous preschooler. They love to splash in the waves at Nantasket beach, barrel roll down any grassy hill they can find, and read stacks of books.
