Julie Mangan, Lead Teacher

Connecting people of all ages to nature is a common thread that weaves through all of Julie’s experience. This includes: 10 yrs. Garden Coordinator, Malden Community Garden, 3 yrs. Farm Coordinator, CHS-Jackson Farm, and 2 yrs. Tinkergarten Leader.

Julie’s class will be a welcoming and loving place where she hopes to inspire your children to be as excited about nature as she is!

Growing up in a rural town in CT, Julie explored forests, swamps, gardens, and fields. All of this time she spent outside built her confidence and creativity as well as a true curiosity for all things in the natural world.

As a wife, mother, gardener, farmer, and creative force- Julie will be able to pull from her childhood memories and current experiences to make your child’s time at BOPN magical, memorable, and fun!
