Isaiah Marmol, SuccessLinkYouth Worker

Isaiah Marmol is sociable, energetic, and engaging and is delighted to join BOPN as a SuccessLink youth worker this school year. He has four other siblings, two of which attend BOPN, and his family has been involved with BOPN since its inception! He has always found great peace and enjoyment in the outdoors, and the natural world has often been a refuge and solace for Isaiah. He loves the feeling of freedom associated with the quiet and idyllic woods, and has gone on many hikes with his family at Blue Hills.

Furthermore, one of Isaiah’s favorite outdoor sports is skiing, and he has even gone all the way to Montana to enjoy the powder of the midwest. He also has recently begun rowing on the Charles River, a sport that is both grueling and very rewarding. One of Isaiah’s favorite memories of connection to the natural world is rowing in late November at around six p.m. when the sky was pitch black, and the only sound was the rhythmic clanking of his oars and the three other teammates in the quad, or four person boat, that he was in. Isaiah is extremely excited to begin working with BOPN, and is looking forward to sharing his enjoyment of the outdoors with his students!
