Alanna Nicholas, SuccessLink Youth Leader

Alanna is excited to return to BOPN for her second summer!  She thrives on making people feel happy and included. A natural leader, her consistency and confidence help her to guide others, especially youth, towards success. Alanna is currently completing her Freshman year at Bridgewater State University, where she is studying to be an early education teacher.

As an educator, Alanna aspires to provide children with hands-on learning experiences and is excited to provide this for the BOPN students. She’s been preparing for this career since the age of fifteen, when she began working at a variety of youth programs.  Alanna learned a lot about BOPN's nature-based approach to education last summer, and is excited to continue her employment with BOPN as soon as she wraps up her spring semester!
