Sabrina Goldsmith, Teaching Fellow

Sabrina’s background as a Classical archaeologist nurtured a deep appreciation for the ways humans interact with their environments—through art, objects, and the landscapes we inhabit and shape.

Sabrina came from Chicago, Illinois to attend Brandeis University—where she received a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Art History, and Classical and Early Mediterranean Studies in the spring of 2025. While she has worked with children in a variety of settings over the years, Sabrina’s decision to pursue teaching came as a joyful and unexpected realization toward the end of her college journey.

Her background as a Classical archaeologist nurtured a deep appreciation for the ways humans interact with their environments—through art, objects, and the landscapes we inhabit and shape.

Sabrina is especially passionate about material culture and its power to connect people to place, memory, and community. These interests naturally align with her belief in mindful, place-based learning and the importance of fostering a respectful relationship with the natural world from an early age.

At BOPN, Sabrina hopes to inspire curiosity, wonder, and a sense of stewardship in young learners, while modeling balance, creativity, and care for the environment. In her free time, she enjoys ambitious baking projects, reading cozy mystery novels, swimming in any available body of water, and wandering through the museums of Boston. She's also an avid traveler who has visited almost 20 countries!
