Zoë Obourn, Teacher

Zoe loves to get messy and stay active while teaching and learning!

Zoe moved to South Boston last summer with her partner to pursue their educations and careers. She graduated from Miami of Ohio in 2022 with a degree in Psychology and Child Development, and will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood education at Boston University beginning this fall.

Her passion for early learning has blossomed these last few years since teaching in a few traditional centers and working as a fitness teacher for young children; Zoe loves to get messy and stay active while teaching and learning and is so excited to do so with the children here at BOPN.

Growing up in Connecticut, Zoe spent time playing in the woods, exploring creeks, and going out on the lake with family and friends. She is excited to connect her profound love of the outdoors with her passion for early childhood education. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking, spending time with their family dogs, and playing cards and board games. Zoe also loves to travel and take road trips with friends and family!
