Nate Dizor, BU Practicum Student

Nate hopes to have the same positive impact on children now that his teachers had on him. 

Nate is from New Jersey and he could not be more grateful for the opportunity to work at BOPN. He is a senior at Boston University studying Health Science with a minor in Biology. Nate has worked at YMCA summer camps for the last three years and it is his home away from home. Working at summer camp as a swim instructor and a rock climbing instructor, he has grown to love nature. Working with children has always been Nate's passion and he hopes to someday become a teacher. He understands how lucky he was to receive an equitable education and to have met so many amazing teachers and coaches. He hopes to have the same positive impact on children now that his teachers had on him. 

In his spare time he loves relaxing with his two cats and rabbit while listening to music. Nate also loves playing soccer and basketball over the weekends with his friends. He loves competition and is always thinking of new exciting games to play!
