Lexi Schaffer, Substitute Teacher

Lexi is a current senior at Boston University majoring in Health Science with an interest in Maternal and Children’s Global Health. She believes early childhood education plays a crucial role in the social development of a child and positively affects life long health. She has always gravitated towards working with children and aspires to make learning environments both fun and enriching. In addition, she is a current Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Simmons University where she supports and empowers young women to reach their full potential on and off the field.

Her career aspirations, love of children, and natural leadership qualities made interning at BOPN a great match. Lexi was drawn to BOPN’s holistic childhood development philosophy and unique nature based approach. She hopes to build strong relationships with her students, their families, and nature during her time at BOPN. In her free time she enjoys working out, playing soccer, yoga, and traveling!
