Half Day Preschool

Entirely outdoors, ages 2.9 through 6

Location

Drop-off and pick-up are outdoors at Massachusetts Horticultural Society (MassHort).

We will spend our days in the forest and gardens.  The children are active participants in selecting which places we visit and how we explore them. 

Hours and Schedule

​9 am – 12 pm, Monday through Friday

We follow the Wellesley Public Schools calendar.

Daily Rhythm

9 a.m.: Drop-off 

--> Morning Circle

  • Greetings, song, seasonal events, and safety rules

--> Hike to an "adventure spot" in the forest (varies each day)

--> Emergent curriculum in nature

  • Play, guided exploration, nature walks, projects, etc.

12 p.m.: Pick-up

Tuition

School-year tuition for 5 mornings per week (Monday through Friday):

$10,800 (10 monthly payments of $1,080)

We are currently enrolling for the 2020-2021 school year.

An enrollment fee of $200 is required to reserve your spot.

BOPN families are required to buy a MassHort membership at the "Individual" ($55) level or above by the first day of school.

Our Socially Distant Open House is on Thursday, July 9 at Elm Bank/MassHort.

To be eligible for our program, your child must be at least 2 years and 9 months of age by September 2.  If your child turns 2.9 during the school year and if there is a spot available at that time, we may be able to accept them.

Registration is complete and your child's spot is secured once we have received a completed enrollment packet and a non-refundable $200 enrollment fee.
