Drop-off and pick-up are outdoors at Massachusetts Horticultural Society (MassHort).  The address is 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA.

We spend our days in the forest and gardens.  The children are active participants in selecting which places we visit and how we explore them.  Click here for a video of the extraordinary gardens at MassHort.

Hours and Schedule

​9 am – 12 pm, Monday through Friday

We follow the Wellesley Public Schools calendar.

Daily Rhythm

9 a.m.: Drop-off 

--> Morning Circle

  • Greetings, song, seasonal events, and safety rules

--> Hike to an "adventure spot"

--> Emergent curriculum in nature

  • Play and guided exploration​​​

--> Hike back

12 p.m.: Pick-up

Tuition for 2021-22

Annual tuition for 5 mornings/week:

$10,800 (10 monthly payments of $1,080)

Annual tuition for 3 mornings/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday):

$7,500 (10 monthly payments of $750)

Annual tuition for 2 mornings/week (Tuesday, Thursdays):

$5000 (10 monthly payments of $500)

An enrollment fee of $200 is required to reserve your spot.

Enrolled families are required to buy a MassHort membership ($55) by the first day of school.

If you need a scholarship, please don't be shy.  We are committed to providing meaningful nature education to youth regardless of family income.  Anyone who can demonstrate a full or partial need is encouraged to apply.

To be eligible your child must be at least 2 years and 9 months of age by the first day of school.  (If your child turns 2.9 during the school year and if there is an opening available at that time, we will accept them).


Registration for the 2021-22 school year opens January 25th.
