How to Apply for Summer @ BOPN 2022
Step 1: Inquire
Submit our interest form to let us know your desired location and program and whether you anticipate needing financial aid. A member of our admissions team will get back to you to answer any initial questions you may have. We welcome families to visit us or speak to our Director of Admissions prior to enrolling.
Step 2: Apply for Aid
We offer income-based financial aid for families who need it. If financial aid, in the form of an enrollment fee reduction or waiver, deposit payment schedule, or tuition reduction, will enable your family to participate in our programs, please call or email our Director of Admissions.
Step 3: Register
After you submit an inquiry (Step 1), we will send you registration instructions. To register, you will complete a brief application, pay a $200 enrollment fee, and pay a tuition deposit (see tables below). Once the application, enrollment fee, and deposit have been submitted, you will receive an email confirming your child's spot.
Tuition & Cost of Attendance
Cost of attendance includes tuition, deposit, a one-time enrollment fee of $200, and the cost of outdoor gear for your child. Families are responsible for purchasing outdoor gear for their child. Tuition, deposit, and fees are non-refundable nor transferable. If a family chooses to send their child to BOPN for fewer days per week or hours per day than scheduled, the cost remains the same.
For half day programs, a deposit of $200 per two-week session is due at the time of registration. The remainder is due in two equal installments. The first installment is due no later than March 1; the second, no later than May 1.
For full day Wellesley summer programs, an initial 25% deposit is due upon registration. The remainder of summer tuition is due in two equal installments. The first installment is due no later than March 1; the second, no later than May 1.
All summer tuition must be paid in full prior to the first day of attendance.
Summer Half Day Tuition
Includes JP/Roslindale morning (9AM - 12PM) & afternoon (12:30PM - 3:30PM), and Wellesley morning (9AM-12PM).

We will explain the process and provide you with a brief financial aid application.
After you submit an interest form, we will get back to you promptly to let you know whether there available spots in your program of interest, or if not, whether we offer other programs that might fit your needs.
In the case of a program being full, families may submit a brief application and $50 application fee to be placed on our waitlist. Submission of an application and inclusion on our waitlist does not guarantee admission to our programs.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion; dedication to our current and alumni families; and chronological order of inquiry are the primary factors that guide our selection processes when number of applications exceed number of open spots in a given program.
