Teresa is thrilled to be joining BOPN and is looking forward to bringing her love of open-ended explorations to this outdoor classroom. With degrees in Arts Administration and Early Childhood Development, she finds joy in interdisciplinary learning with a focus on STEAM and nature education. She has worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children in a variety of settings. As a classically trained musician, she likes to find ways to bring all of the expressive arts into learning opportunities and is a firm believer that math is amazing and fun! She has taught in Reggio-inspired classrooms and enjoys discovering the hundred languages of the children she meets.
When Teresa is not teaching, she can be found with her family and young daughter, trying to keep up with her German language skills, and hunting for worms and rolly-polly bugs (fun fact - they aren't actually bugs!)
