Rebecca Taylor
Teacher
Full Day Preschool
Rebecca loves how child-led play fosters creativity and agency. She appreciates the great outdoors as a setting for risk-assessment, connection-building, and an ever-changing curriculum. After studying Health and Social Justice at Wellesley College, Rebecca arrived at teaching as a way to impart the next generation with the tools to be agents of change. Before joining BOPN, she worked as a camp instructor outdoors and as a paraprofessional in a K/1 classroom.
The most formative outdoor experiences for Rebecca were in Girl Scouts where she practiced orienteering, led first aid workshops, and hiked across a glacier. Rebecca also enjoys trail running, knitting, ultimate frisbee, and laughing with friends.
