Jonathan Nguyen

Jonathan is a sophomore at Carleton College and is a prospective Biology or Cinema and Media Studies major with a Biochemistry minor. Having a niece and nephew himself, Jonathan has spent plenty of time with them outdoors playing and learning about nature. At school, Jonathan is involved with Project Friendship, a program in which he serves as a mentor for a young child. Jonathan was drawn to BOPN after learning how their mission is to support youth develop and grow through an immersive outdoor environment. Jonathan hopes that through his time at BOPN, he will develop proficiency working in a new and welcoming environment. He aspires to one day become a medical physician or an optometrist specializing in pediatrics and vision therapy. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys working out, bouldering, and watching tv shows!
