Jessica Weisman

Jessica grew up in a suburb of Boston and realized early on that spending time in nature led her to a healthier, happier, and more creative life. She is a firm believer in the power of nature-based education and the magic of the outdoors. Jessica received her BA in Political Science from Lesley University. She has taught elementary in New England and Colorado, and did her Montessori teacher training at the Montessori Elementary Teacher Training Collaborative in Lexington, MA. While residing in Colorado, Jessica spent a summer at Avid4 Adventure co-leading a group of campers through outdoor activities including mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, and Leave No Trace principles. She has enjoyed being in a school environment over the past decade, and is excited to join BOPN in an admin role. In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking, music, and spending time with her husband, two young children, and her two dogs, Sage and Cedar. She has also run seven half marathons and two marathons. After her family, Jessica’s two favorite things in the world are drinking coffee, and exploring in the mountains.
