Summer and School Year

Arboretum Location

Claudia has always been a lover of the outdoors and began to share her passion for early education alongside young children during her final years of college. Growing up on Long Island, she spent a lot of time down by the Great South Bay, on Fire Island, and exploring many of the state beaches, local parks, and arboretums with her sisters.

Claudia is a recent graduate of Syracuse University where she studied Psychology, Sociology and Forensic Science. During her years in upstate New York, she spent her free time chasing waterfalls, taking in the overwhelming greenery…and snow! Some of her most recent research includes a meta-analysis of parent/child dynamics and relationships with education during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Claudia loves to implement positive habits into her daily life including listening to new music & podcasts, practicing yoga, biking, and trying out new recipes. Claudia aspires to continue her academic endeavors in School Psychology with hopes to go on to graduate school in the coming year. She is very excited to further implement nature-based learning into her everyday life, and to be able to share that with all of you!
