Andy Longsdorf, Teacher

Andy has a love for teaching children that they discovered volunteering as a camp counselor through their local 4-H program. Having grown up on a farm, they have always had a love for animals and exploring the natural world around them.  As a child, they spent hours exploring and adventuring around their family farm and woods!

Andy loves any kind of outdoor activity, especially hanging out in a hammock with a sketchbook.  They love to play in mud and has even done so professionally as a Ceramic instructor at a summer camp. They try to bring their love for art and the outdoors into everything they do.  Andy is a strong supporter of learning-by-doing and will take any opportunity they can to learn something new. Andy looks forward to returning to BOPN to grow their career in Outdoor Education!

In their free time, you can find Andy hiking with their camera, rock climbing, or volunteering to help animals in need.
