Nature-immersive program for ages 15 months through Kindergarten

We will spend much of our time outdoors at the Arboretum.

 

Age Eligibility

Preschool: 2 years and 9 months through age 6 (end of Kindergarten year)

Toddler: 15 months through 2 years and 9 months

Hours and Schedule

The full-day programs will open in summer 2020.  

 

This is a year-round program. 

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Extended hours:

Before school: 8 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

After school: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Daily Rhythm

8 - 9 a.m.: Drop-off outdoors at the arboretum

9 a.m.: Morning circle, hike, explore, play, and learn in nature at the arboretum  

12 p.m.: Lunch indoors

12:40 p.m.: Nap/quiet time 

2 p.m.:  Either indoors or outdoors.  Read-aloud, shared reading, art, music, social studies, gardening, science, blocks, math, etc.

3:30 p.m.: Pick-up 

3:30 - 5:30: After School: Either indoors or outdoors.  Free-play, read stories, explore nature, art, blocks, etc.

Tuition

 

This is a 5 day/week program.  If you wish for your child to attend 4 days/week that is fine but the cost will remain the same.

Preschool tuition (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.): $1,200/month

Toddler tuition (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.): $1,500/month

Before School (8 - 9 a.m.): $210/month ($10/hour)

After School

  • 3:30 - 4:30: $210/month ($10/hour)

  • 4:30 - 5:30: $210/month ($10/hour)

There is a $1,000 deposit due at acceptance which will be applied toward your child's last month at BOPN.

If your child is ages 2.9 through 6, please consider applying to our half-day programs in Wellesley or the North End.  If your child is ages 4 through 6, please consider applying for our half-day afternoon program at the Arboretum.

If you just so happen to know of any suitable real estate for rent next to a beautiful natural area, please let us know.
