An excellent alternative to traditional K1 or K2
Did you know that BOPN has a forest kindergarten option? Our afternoon session is a mixed age group, typically 4-7 year olds, and is an excellent alternative to traditional K1 or K2 programs. While many families have turned to forest kindergarten programs due to COVID-19 and wanting to keep their children and family members as safe as possible, people are also realizing the immense benefits that their children are gaining from this method of education, including child-led learning, kindergarten and first grade readiness skills, nature connection, mindfulness, resiliency, and the benefits of a mixed-age setting.

Enrollment begins March 1, 2023!
Half day mixed age programs run in one week sessions. There is a 3 week minimum enrollment. Weeks need not be consecutive.
Session 1: June 26 - June 30
Session 2: July 5 - July 7
Session 3: July 10 - July 14
Session 4: July 17 - July 21
Session 5: July 24 - July 28
Session 6: July 31 - August 4
Session 7: August 7 -August 11
Session 8: August 14 - August 18
Session 9: August 21 - August 25
Session 10: August 28 - September 1
Summer Tuition: $409/week
