Nature-play, rain or shine!

Ages 2.9 through 10

Location

Drop-off and pick-up outdoors at the Arboretum (exact location within the arboretum TBD based on the number and ages of children enrolled).

The children are active participants in selecting which places within the arboretum we visit each day and how we explore them.  

Hours and Schedule

Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Early Birds (see pricing below):

8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Lunch Bunch (see pricing below):

12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Children may register for one or more weeks, which do not need to be consecutive.  We offer the following weeks:

June 22 - 26

July 6 - 10

July 13 - 17

July 20 - 24

July 27 - 31

August 3 -7 

August 10 - 14

August 17 - 21

(Note that there is no summer program June 29 - July 3).

Daily Rhythm

8 a.m.: Drop-off for Early Birds

9 a.m.: Drop-off 

  • Morning circle

  • Hike to an "adventure spot" (varies each day)

  • Nature-play, exploration, making friends, imaginative play, storytelling, respecting and caring for Earth

12 p.m.: Pick-up/Lunch Bunch

12 - 2 p.m.: Lunch, nature-play and games

2 p.m.: Pick-up

Tuition

$400 for one week
$775 for two weeks
$1100 for three weeks

Each additional week beyond three weeks is $350 per week.

Early Birds (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.): 

$15 for a single day

Full week $60

Lunch Bunch (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.):
$50 for a single day 

Full week $200

  • Chat with a teacher.  If you would like to observe our school-year program in action, feel free to schedule a visit for a weekday at 10 a.m.  

  • We will put your name on the interest list and email you an enrollment packet once registration opens in February.

  • Registration is complete and your child's spot is secured once we have received a completed enrollment packet and a deposit of $200.

To be eligible for our summer program, your child must be between the ages of 2.9 and 10 years.  Groupings are based on age.
